This Privacy Policy explains how Estinopo Technologies Inc. ("Estinopo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use the Estacc website and the Estacc SME application (together, "Estacc"). We are committed to handling personal data responsibly and in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines and its implementing rules.

Who we are

Estacc is a family of accounting technology products developed by Estinopo Technologies Inc., a company organized under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. For any privacy-related concern, you may reach us at hello@estinopotech.com.

This policy applies to the Estacc marketing website and to the Estacc SME application. Estacc Practice and Estacc Enterprise are not yet available; this policy will be updated as those products are released.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you provide. Your name, email address, and business details when you create an account, launch Estacc SME, join a waitlist, or contact us.
Bookkeeping and tax information you enter. Sales, expenses, and other records and figures you record in Estacc SME so the software can help you understand your numbers and prepare for filing.
Communications. Messages, requests, and feedback you send to us.
Information collected automatically. Device, browser, log, and usage data, and information from cookies and similar technologies, when you use the website or application.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, maintain, and improve Estacc;
Perform the bookkeeping, tax-computation, and filing-preparation functions you request;
Communicate with you about your account, updates, security notices, and support;
Respond to your inquiries and waitlist requests;
Protect the security and integrity of our services and prevent misuse;
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal bases for processing

Under the Data Privacy Act, we process personal data on one or more of the following bases: your consent; the performance of a contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate interests in operating and improving Estacc, provided these do not override your rights and freedoms.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only as follows:

Service providers who host, support, or help us operate Estacc (for example, cloud hosting and email delivery), under confidentiality and data-processing obligations;
Legal and regulatory requirements, where disclosure is required by law or lawful request;
Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganization, subject to this policy.

Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide Estacc, to comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

Data security

We implement reasonable organizational, physical, and technical measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

Be informed about how your personal data is processed;
Access the personal data we hold about you;
Object to or restrict certain processing;
Have inaccurate data corrected and, where appropriate, erased or blocked;
Data portability, where applicable;
Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines.

Children's privacy

Estacc is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Third-party services and links

Estacc may link to or interact with third-party services you choose to use, such as the BIR's eBIRForms or eFPS systems and your bank. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of Estacc after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
